Probably our most ambitious release to date, this is also our most successful and the one I'm probably the proudest about. I managed to get in touch with Necrobutcher in 2021 thanks to the help of a friend from England running the label Irreverent Curse (he made a killer Necrophagia demo comp, check it out!). The band was really enthusiast about the project and gave me a shitload of original material, including the master files for the demo tape and some unreleased stuff. I had complete freedom for that and the hard work I put in the release definitely paid off : The result is beautiful. We had a dedicated sound engineer (resonance sound studio, great professional work!) to restore everything and Dead Christ never sounded so good. We also had a lot of help from Dan of Down With The Most High Productions who handled all Dead Christ merchandise as well as the tape edition (another beautiful release!). It was a true underground achievement.
They were one of the main "bestial" sounding band of the early Black Metal scene, along with Beherit, Blasphemy, Bestial Summoning or Archgoat. They also had that mid tempo edge and truly were one of a kind. Many labels tried to track them down along the years but I'm extremely happy to have been able to resurrect this treasure!
